Handmade from a luxuriously soft , single layer of microfleece. 

Laid closest to the skin. 

Newborn - four months : used to keep the bum dry if baby is sensitive to wetness. 

Four/ five months onwards : used to catch solids which makes cleaning nappies easy. Also used in night nappies to keep baby`s bum dry during the longer stretch. We recommend using one per nappy, day and night time in all cloth diapers, until potty training.
