Shipping & Returns

At Chai Namibia, we offer flexible and affordable delivery options to make your shopping experience easy and convenient.

1. Delivery Options:

  • Courier Delivery (Namibia-wide): We deliver directly to your home or office, anywhere in Namibia.
  • Self-Collection (Windhoek only): You may collect your order from us in Windhoek. Collections must be arranged in advance.

Self-collection hours:
Tuesday to Friday, between 11:00 and 17:00.

2. Delivery Costs:

Within Windhoek:

  • Orders over N$800 qualify for free delivery.
  • Self-collection is free, regardless of the order amount.
  • Orders below N$400 are charged N$40.
  • Orders between N$400 and N$599 are charged N$20.
  • Orders between N$600 and N$799 are charged N$30.

Rest of Namibia:

  • Orders over N$2,000 with a total weight under 9kg qualify for free delivery.
  • Orders above N$600 receive a N$20 discount on delivery.

Standard delivery fees for orders below N$2,000 are based on weight:

  • Up to 2kg: N$75
  • 2kg to 4kg: N$110
  • 4kg to 7kg: N$140
  • 7kg to 9kg: N$170
  • 9kg to 12kg: N$200
  • 12kg to 15kg: N$230
  • 15kg to 30kg: N$260
  • Over 30kg: N$350

For orders below N$600, the delivery costs are slightly higher:

  • Up to 2kg: N$95
  • 2kg to 4kg: N$130
  • 4kg to 7kg: N$160

3. Delivery Terms:

  • Deliveries are made to physical street addresses only — no P.O. Boxes.
  • We deliver during business hours only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 2 working days of confirmation.
  • You will receive tracking details by email or SMS once your parcel has been sent.

Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, please reach out to us — we evaluate each case individually and will do our best to assist you.

Returns:

  • You have 7 days from the date of purchase to return an item.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging.
  • If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a return or exchange.

Refunds:

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you by email about the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, you may choose between:
    • An exchange for another item of the same value
    • A gift voucher for the same value
    • A cash refund via EFT

Exchanges:

  • Items can only be exchanged if they are defective or damaged.
  • Please contact us to arrange for an exchange of the same item.

Return Shipping:

  • Return items must be sent to:
    Shop 21, Old Power Station Centre, Corner Armstrong & Nobel Street, Windhoek, Namibia
  • You are responsible for covering return shipping costs.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • If a refund is processed, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
