How to Choose the Right Flange Size

Our NCVI breast pumps come standard with four flange sizes: 21mm, 24mm, 28mm, and 32mm. You can also purchase additional converters for smaller sizing: 17mm or 19mm.

Measuring Your Nipple Size

  1. Stimulate your nipple so it stands out naturally.
  2. Use a ruler to measure the diameter of the nipple base — do not include the areola.
  3. Use the measurement to determine the best flange fit.

Size Guide (No Table Format)

  • If your nipple measures 12 to 14mm:
Use 21mm flanges with a 17mm converter (sold separately).
  • If your nipple measures 14 to 16mm:
Use 24mm flanges with a 19mm converter (sold separately).
  • If your nipple measures 16 to 18mm:
    Use 21mm flanges as-is.
  • If your nipple measures 19 to 21mm:
    Use 24mm flanges as-is.
  • If your nipple measures 22 to 24mm:
    Use 28mm flanges as-is.
